As a Restaurant Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency within our restaurant.
Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks ranging from putting up inventory and washing dishes to keeping the premises tidy and organized.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and pantries.
Assist in receiving and putting up inventory, including food supplies and cleaning materials.
Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of outdoor dining areas, including sweeping sidewalks and cleaning outdoor furniture.
Assist in maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment by promptly addressing spills, broken equipment, and other potential safety concerns.
Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including those related to food handling and sanitation.
Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operation and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Available shifts and compensation:
We have available shifts all days of the week.
Compensation is $9.
00 - $10.
00/hour.
